With a vision for transformative design and an unmatched global perspective, Carlos Vega is a seasoned architect and project leader with over 30 years of experience shaping the built environment. From luxury hospitality and mixed-use developments to commercial landmarks and urban master planning, Carlos has left his mark across 14 countries in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design, Carlos honed his craft at top-tier firms before launching Vega Architects in 2004, establishing a practice that blends cutting-edge design, sustainability, and cultural relevance. His career spans from working on iconic projects with RTKL Associates (now CallisonRTKL)—a global leader in retail and mixed- use architecture—to leading multidisciplinary teams on high-profile developments worldwide. His work is recognized for its seamless integration of function and aesthetics, ensuring that each project not only meets but exceeds client expectations. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Carlos brings an international edge to his projects, crafting spaces that reflect innovation, efficiency, and cultural context.

Beyond his practice, Carlos has served two terms as a Dallas City Landmark Commissioner, reinforcing his commitment to architectural heritage and urban development. His approach is deeply client-focused, with a strong emphasis on collaborative design, strategic project execution, and delivering world-class solutions.
